Card Beginning to Take Shape with Winner Takes All Match Announced
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) have announced the date and location for the third annual AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view event. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 30, 2024, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.The card for Forbidden Door 2024 is still taking shape, but one match has already been announced: a Winner Takes All match between AEW World Champion MJF and NJPW World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.
Forbidden Door is a co-branded event that features wrestlers from both AEW and NJPW. The first Forbidden Door event was held in 2022 and was a critical and commercial success. The second event was held in 2023 and was also a success.
AEW and NJPW have a long-standing relationship, and Forbidden Door is a way to showcase the best of both worlds. The event is sure to be a special night for fans of both promotions.
